Shiva Raichandani

Shiva collaborates with the team of consultants by providing critical research and insights into the written and video content for New Inclusion across its learning programmes and platforms. He also co-facilitates sessions especially those using topical scenarios and storytelling.

Shiva is passionate about positive gender-diverse representation in mainstream media, amplifying marginalised voices, and mental health within the south Asian community. As someone who is media savvy with a social presence, Shiva has a conscious pulse on current societal discourses.

Born in Hong Kong, raised in Dubai and Indonesia, educated in India, and currently based in London, Shiva is an ideal example of a global citizen with rich sensitivity to diverse cultures.

Shiva has degrees in Psychology, Counselling, and Media Communication, and uses the combined knowledge from them with his lived experiences to tap into the discourses of intersectional identities. He uses digital platforms to mobilise and create safe community spaces to champion diverse talent and drive topical conversations around societal issues.

Shiva also freelances as a speaker and consultant on inclusive practices for corporate and non-profit organisations. He has worked with the likes of Google, Netflix, Instagram, Universal Music Group, TEDx, Getty Images, Cannes Lions, and UK Black Pride.
